Small, cosy and very interesting. Absolutely full of Dickens-belia a made up word! Fascinating to look around the walls. Refreshments were lovely and quite reasonably priced. Toilet is accessable via steep, narrow stairs which may be challenging for some. Cash only payment.

Popped in for a delicious all day breakfast on warmed plate. Lovely coffee. Then looked up and saw the desert menu! Large treacle sponge with generous custard superb. Excellent friendly service. Would love to come back again.

Dickens Tea Cottage is a wonderful experience. The walls are full of interesting items. Lovely staff, very helpful. The menu is full of delightful meals. I had the omelette with salad and chips. It was excellent and very tasty. Wonderful puds. Good old fashioned service at it's best. 10 out of ten guys for so many reasons.
