Very peaceful gardens. The gardening team do a brilliant job keeping the Crematorium looking nice for the many visitors to enjoy.
We were in the small chapel very depressing coffin stuck up in the air , the curtains around the coffin had seen better days old and faded , old fashion wooden panels no flowers I wouldnt want to have my funeral there if I lived in Eastbourne , that room needs decorating and brightening up for familes it felt you were sitting in a court room on hard chairs dreadfull the grounds were nicer
My late father, mother and husband were all cremated/buried here. I have always found the staff here very helpful. I like the grounds very much. It is very peaceful yet not far from houses and shops so very accessable even if you are disabled like me. I am making arrangements for my funeral and I hope to be intered there too.
Just been to cremation here today (25-7-17) nice surroundings etc. What let it down was after service u walked out past display of flowers wreaths etc no time to stand and take it all in just a slow walk past them. No time to Osborb it all. Very poor I thought. Been to. Other crems and flowers etc r put laid out for all to c at leisure.
65, you've got a bargain. I am going there with my brother and sisters to scatter our mothers ashes in the Garden of Rememberence, that's where my fathers ashes were scattered a few years ago, free of charge. We will only be there about 10 mins and the charge now is 85.
