When a friend suggested I take my car to our local Halfords Autocentre I was a little sceptical. However I needn't have worried. My car had a full service including engine flush, fuel flush thrown in for good measure and a MOT.Reasonable price and the staff seemed very well informed and keen to be of service without trying to load on other extras. Mot/Service. Was bit apprehensive about coming to a big brand garage but was willing to overlook this because of the positive reviews.Really happy with service. They were very quick with the service and car passed with no problems.
This is the type of service that makes a name of a garage.Beside they had no available slots to take my car in to do the MOT retest within the 10 working days window, they still managed to get it done by asking me to drop the car straight in the morning. Around lunch time, the retest was done and avoided me having to pay a complete new MOT test.
Called on the off chance to have my oil changed as it was previously booked with someone else who cancelled at the last minute due to a bereavement & Halfords were more than happy to help me even though they were pretty busy with not many staff that day.
