Lovely pub but all the seats and tables were reserved for those dining, so we sat on bar stools. Good selection of cask ales: Harvey's, Timothy Taylor Landlord and Fullers etc. Pub was mainly full with girls and a good atmosphere and plenty of bar staff.
Awesome pub full of lovely staff and people having a beer and / or food. Food was very good. Recommend after a stroll to Beachy Head.
Generally pretty busy with older locals. The food looks lovely, although I've never eaten there. A good variety, and a choice of Sunday roasts.Gothic decoration with some stuffed animals, fun signs and pictures that I enjoy. Cosy and quirky.Service and turnover are very efficient.Outdoor areas front and back.Own car park.Well worth a visit.
Food is excellent!! We had four different dishes ( chicken, fish and burger) and all of them were great. Dover sole was excellent and so was the pan fried chicken. The atmosphere was very familiar and friendly and the service was excellent. Highly recommend it! And it's not too far to get to it from Beachy Head.
The best pub in Eastbourne bar none. Great food. Great hosts. Great selection of beers and spirits. Lovely garden and a short stroll to the promenade. This is a fantastic place I can't recommend it strongly enough. Go and see what I mean for yourself. Ollie
