Always cared diligently for my family and I, always giving time to assess and provide treatment as necessary. I have chronic pain and have been given much needed support and encouragement aswell as different medical treatments.

They don't answer the phone. Been ringing for 45 mins, my 2 year old daughter really poorly. Finally get through and no matter what they would not see my little girl I'm so angry. Surely children and the elderly should be a priority. I am not entirely sure how to reply directly to the response to my post, so I am replying here. I am a patient and have been for a while now, along with my 3 children. I was ringing hampden park surgery for so long that I finally rang Polegate, no answer there for a very long time. When I eventually got an answer, I told the receptionist I had been ringing hampden park for over half hour, she said I shouldn't of bothered ringing Polegate number because all the calls are taking at hampden park and transferred through to Polegate. So it was acreally the receptionist I was talking to that hasn't answered my call for 45 mins. After all that time and me explaining to her about my child she told me there was no appointments avaliable for my toddler and to take her to the walk in centre or try again tomorrow. A couple of weeks ago my partner was asked by our child's nursery to collect her as she had a rash appear all over her and high temperature, they said to take her In to our surgery and ask to see the doctor, obviously we expected that we wouldn't see someone immediately but wanted to ask for an appointment, the receptionist see our child did look poorly but told my partner to take her to a&e because there was no appointments In hampden park or Polegate and she didn't even check Polegate. I want my children to be able to see a doctor when they need one, I did ask before for someone to ring me back with my concerns but never got a call back. I amean now waiting for an appointment to come through for myself and my daughters 6 week check up, she's 8 weeks on Saturday. I rang the surgery over a week ago and was told I need to wait for appointment to come through the post.

99% of the time the staff are fantastic but on one occasion a receptionist didn't want to give me an appointment stating that the doctor wouldn't issue a prescription ..I told her that was not her job to say what a doctor will or won't do and not for her to decide who does and doesn't see a doctor ..and yes he did issue a prescription .
