When I can see my own doctor this is a good practice . However I have not been able to see my doctor on the last three visits. I was also kept waiting twenty minutes past the appointment time. The doctors attitude was flippant and brisk to say the least and my consultation lasted less than five minutes.They say if symptoms persist then see your doctor . I have had an awful cough, congestion and dark green mucus for over a week which is keeping me awake at night. I was doing all the right things - paracetamol, hot lemon and honey drinks, nasal salt spray etc. And it was not getting any better. Dr Hammond checked my chest, took my temperature and blood pressure and then said - I am not going to give you any antibiotics. I then asked her for a decongestant and she just said take parcetomal and have hot lemon and honey. The visit was a complete waste of my time.I then went to the pharmacist who was much more concerned and provided me with linctus and friars. Balsam. Still not good and not sleeping at night.

I have to say I have always received the most professional service from Green Street Clinic. Yes, occasionally appointments run a bit late but to me that demonstrates what a proper job the Doctors do. Rather than rush you in and out they give you a comprehensive assessment.
They are extremely kind and patient. I've been there 10 years and never had a bad experience.
